5080T “MORE SPEED AND MANOEUVRABILITY”
We have run a Weidemann 5080T for over 2 years on our Beef Finishing farm in Co Cork. The 5080T replaced a JCBTM200 and straight away we were very impressed with the power, speed and manoeuvrability of the Weidemann, it provides more power, faster hydraulics, is more agile and has better balance. All this has helped to speed up the cycle time for every application.
On any given day the 5080T can be found carrying out tasks like stacking bales, shear grabbing silage, cleaning out and bedding pens, as well as buck raking silage in the summer. With over 1,000 hours on the 5080T, we are extremely happy with its performance and when the time comes will be looking at Weidemann for a replacement machine. Our local dealer Paudy Buckley Tractors provides an excellent service and back up support which are crucial to maintaining productivity.

Weidemann T4512 from Howard Fulton
Stephen McSwiggan is a poultry farmer from Fivemiletown, County Tyrone.
He recently purchased a New Weidemann T4512 Telehandler from Howard Fulton in Dungiven. Stephen previously used a Skidsteer before deciding to purchase a Weidemann.
He uses it for general handling, carrying cubes of water about and lifting bags of fertilizer etc. Stephen said his reason for choosing a Weidemann is because he read an article in the Irish Farmers Journal and the reason for choosing the Weidemann T4512 was because, "it has the ability of a bigger machine in a small package".

Russell Anderson is a pig farmer from Scarva, County Down. He recently purchased a New Weidemann 4070 CX100T from T.H.Troughton in Poyntzpass. As well as being a pig farmer, Russell is also an agri contractor and finds the machine covers all aspects of his business, from general farm use including feeding, bedding and stacking round bales and pallets. Russell previously used a Matbro TR200 which had over 12,000 hours on it and had looked at other machines before deciding to purchase a Weidemann. Russell said he was, "impressed with the machine and impressed with the price" he also went on to say, "from deciding that I might change to actually changing, I'd say we did it within a week".
David Steele is a dairy farmer from Bellaghy, County L’Derry.
David purchased a New Weidemann 1160 from Wilsons of Rathkenny in mid March 2014. He mostly uses it for cleaning out the caving pens and scraping – previously he had used a skid steer to do this sort of work.
David said, “The Weidemann is easier to get in and out of” and, “is good value for money”. He also said, “it is easy to drive and is very handy”.
Lyle Mackey, from Mackey of Killealy, Antrim purchased a New Weidemann 3070 CX80T in February 2014.
The reasons for purchasing a Weidemann over the competition was firstly because his brother-in-law owned one and secondly it was competitively priced. Lyle uses his Weidemann mostly for cutting silage for feeding his dairy herd, but has also used it most recently with a post driver attachment. Lyle said, “It’s more manoeuvrable for fencing in dry weather than a tractor” and, “it has done anything we have asked it to do.”
